I dont read news papers.... atleast not at home. But the internet more than makes up for it. I even like the way the news tags are framed on the websites, they make you feel cumpulsive to click the links.

Today I see the news of Kate Moss displaying her assets on some magazine while our own Udita Goswami doing it for Madhur Bhandarkar. The other news is the new lass of the town, Meenakshi Madhavan and her new book which claims to uncover the flavour of new Indian Society.
While Udita and Moss really dont bother me beyond the visual pleasure, Meenakshi Madhavan is something disturbing. The 'radical' thoughts... rather 'radical' deeds of Miss Madhavan are being published and publicised far beyond what it deserves. Its OK to keep whatever you want in the closet in your house, but when you decide to open it in public, I think, one needs to have a restraint.
Out of curiosity, i happened to read one of Ms. Madhavan's blog. Now agreed...she has a flow in writing and also style perhaps, but the content at times is YUCK !!!! If you are a spoilt child (sorry read it as a person with 'OPEN MIND and THOUGHTS') enjoy your life the way you want to, why do you want to make money sharing it with people on glossy pages? I feel, this is another glorified way of prostitution.. rather an intellectual one!
